HFS Environmental have been providing asbestos management and analytical services to offshore & marine sectors for over 15 years—conducting surveys and assessments on ships and installations, ranging from LNG tankers to supply vessels in a variety of settings, including dry dock and international transit.
Managing director Clifford Healey has over 30 years experience working as a occupational hygienist within the marine, offshore and onshore sectors, conducting analytical procedures such as: asbestos surveys, air testing, asbestos identification, noise surveys, hazardous materials testing, wielding fume monitoring, lighting surveys and thermal comfort surveys.
HFS Environmental Ltd are now accredited by Lloyd’s Register (classification society) for Carrying out asbestos surveys, testing and management of hazardous materials. This is now called the Inventory of Hazardous Materials, formerly called the Green Passport.
All of our asbestos surveyors are fully qualified (P402 & STCW95/BOSIET) and have a minimum of 2 years experience of working within the shipping and offshore industries.
